Welcome Message from the Editor-in-Chief
Dear authors, reviewers and readers of the Journal of Natural and Applied
Sciences Research (JNASR), it is with great pleasure and anticipation that I
welcome you, and jointly we celebrate the launch of the first edition of the Journal
of Natural and Applied Sciences Research (JNASR) with this inaugural issue. I
take this opportunity to thank all our authors, editors and anonymous reviewers, all
of whom do volunteer to contribute to the success of the journal.
JNASR is dedicated to the rapid dissemination of high quality research papers on
how advances in the natural and applied sciences can help us meet the challenges of
the 21st century, and to capitalize on the promises ahead. We welcome
contributions that can demonstrate near-term practical usefulness, particularly
contributions that take a multidisciplinary/convergent approach since many real
world problems are complex in nature.
JNASR provides an ideal forum for exchange of information on research papers,
survey papers, work-in-progress reports on promising development, case
studies/best practice articles written by industry experts, and tutorials on up-
coming technological breakthroughs, etc. JNASR is published two times a year. To
ensure rapid dissemination of information, we aim at completing the review process
of each paper within 6 weeks of initial submission. We also publish special issues on
relevant themes proposed by guest editors.
I am keen to encourage publication of high-quality evidence-based articles.
Emphasis on methodological rigor is vital to ensure that conclusions reached from
publications contained in the journal are valid and reliable.
Finally, we wish to encourage more contributions from the scientific community and
industry practitioners to ensure a continued success of the journal. Authors,
reviewers and guest editors are always welcome. We also welcome comments and
suggestions that could improve the quality of the journal.
